Ryan Z. Marier, CRPC®, CTFATM
Ryan is a co-founder and managing partner, with LandMark Financial Planning + Advisory and is passionate about becoming a client's trusted advocate when it comes to their financial decisions. He helps them define their goals, identify missed opportunities, and eliminate coordination gaps in their financial planning. But most importantly, he helps them through the needed implementation process of their financial plan. He truly enjoys what he does because he can help individuals and business owners navigate through some of life’s most important financial situations.
Growing up, Ryan never considered financial planning as a career choice after studying Mechanical Engineering. With a job out of college in banking, he quickly found a passion for understanding clients and their concerns. Evolving his career towards long-term financial planning was a natural fit. LandMark Financial Planning + Advisory, through Lincoln Financial Advisors, provides Ryan with the perfect balance of teamwork, independence, and professional support enabling him to provide objective advice and the kind of high-end and customized service every client deserves.
Ryan is a graduate of Northwood University with a BBA in Business Management, summa cum laude. He has a certificate in Mechanical Engineering from Ryerson University and has earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® and Certified Trust and Financial Advisor® designations. In addition, he holds the Series 7, 63, 65, and 6 investment registrations as well as insurance licenses for Life, Accident, Health and Annuities. Ryan is also active in the Metro Detroit professional community serving as the current President of the Society of Financial Service Professionals - Detroit Chapter.
Observing his father’s patience, commitment to others, and hard-work is the foundation of how Ryan lives and does business today. Outside of the office, Ryan is an avid runner and golfer. He is a devoted husband and father and loves spending time with his wife, Heather, and sons, Lincoln and Evan. Together they enjoy movies, sports, and family DIY projects.
